Why did I choose trading as a career?

You must have a notion in which you believe every Gujarati is inclined towards the share market as if it is in their blood. Well, that was not the case with me. So, when I disclosed to my father that I wanted to become a trader, the answer was a clear no. He said, baccha, even if you do nothing your entire life, that’s okay but we don’t want to get into a stock market headache. His reaction to my decision did not stop me from pursuing trading because I was adamant about my dream.

Let me share with you my love at first sight story. I was 18 years old when I got my first 0 balance debit card and with it came an offer to open a free Demat account. I, along with my friend, entered a stock market office for the first time. I was love-struck at the very first moment of witnessing the glamour of the stock market. The room was filled with wavering emotions monitoring the market moves and an adrenaline rush to bag every opportunity that the market offers. That was it. I fell in love with the stock market. I was very clear about what I wanted to do in my life. What I wanted to become. From then till today, I have developed so much as a trader. Looking back, I have no regrets. I am very proud of the decision I had taken. Every loss and every wrong decision was worth it. It taught me a lot and transformed me into a pro trader. It taught me from my mistakes that patience and persistence are the keys to a successful trading career.

I’ve completed 17+ years into stock market trading. Developed my own proprietary systems in the span of 6-7 years. Day-in and day-out I have worked towards making the systems better and easier for others like me so that they don’t have to go through the same things I have been through. My journey has been a rollercoaster ride but that’s a story for another time. Bottom line is, the stock market if traded in the right way, has the potential of

becoming your primary source of income and helping you create wealth. I like the freedom it has given me. The freedom of doing what I love, working from anywhere in the world, is completely liquid and scalable. It is not even about the money. It is all about the peace it brings because you don’t have to worry about anything. Your money is working hard to make more money for you. You just have to learn it once and it helps you throughout your life.
